When your mailbox installation location has limited wall depth or walls that are covered in material which makes it difficult to cut a rough opening, our vertical mailbox with surface mount collar offers a solution with a sleek, finished look. Vertical mailboxes are not USPS approved for new installations. The USPS requires properties upgrade to current standards when any remodel or renovation occurs to the property. Any remodel big or small should drive an upgrade to CBU or 4C mailboxes. As these units are top-loading, they should be protected from the weather by installing indoors or under a covered area. Made from heavy-gauge extruded aluminum for durability with striated doors and trim to resist scratches. Five-pin cylinder locks help keep mail contents secure and each compartment features a tenant name card holder.
